Welcome to EGEA Amsterdam!

EGEA Amsterdam is part of the European association of geographers, EGEA. EGEA Amsterdam is formed by both physical and human geography students from the University of Amsterdam and the VU University Amsterdam.

Through EGEA Amsterdam, it is possible to participate in activities all over Europe, such as congresses, seminars, exchanges and educative and sports weekends. The EGEA network spans the entire continent and is active in almost 80 cities (called entities in EGEA language) in 28 countries at this moment. Please have a look at this website and find out which interesting activities you can participate in! For more information you can also come to our monthly meetings, every second Tuesday of the month, in cafe De Koe (381 Marnixstraat).
